This article covers the steps to create a new Cintoo project.
1. In “My Projects”, click “Create project” at the top-right corner.
- If there is no "Create project" button visible on the top right corner of the "My Projects" page, then you do not have the necessary permissions to create new projects. For more information, see: Setting Project Managers
2. In the “Create project” panel, fill in the required fields and click "Create."
- Account: The account to host this project.
- Subscription: The subscription capacity that will be used for this project.
- Data Hosting: Where project files will be stored in the cloud.
- If Automatic (with CDN) is used, hosting is either in Europe or in the US depending on the Account location, with potential caching in any CDN (Content Delivery Network) point of presence.
- If Automatic (with CDN) is not used, a region specific Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure data center can be selected for the project.
- This setting cannot be changed after the project is created.
- Name: The name of the project.
- Description: A description of the project.
- Location: Project location defined as map coordinates or selected using the map tool.
- Cover Image: A thumbnail image for the project.
3. The new project will now be visible on the "My Projects" page. See this article for information about opening Cintoo projects: Open a Project
