Unified Meshes in AutoCAD (FBX Format)

*Note*: Starting with AutoCAD Products 2019, support for the import and export of the FBX file format has been removed.

To export unified meshes in FBX format from Cintoo Cloud, you need to follow these steps:

  • Select the scan, crop, work zone, or whole data set that you want to export




  • Click on the Export button and choose FBX as the format

 

  • Specify a name and location for the file and click Save

To import unified meshes in FBX format into AutoCAD software, you need to follow these steps:

  • Open AutoCAD software and create a new drawing
  • Click on Application menu > Import > FBX


  • Locate and select the file that you exported from Cintoo Cloud
  • Click Open




*FOR AUTOCAD PRODUCTS 2019 OR NEWER*

To import unified meshes in FBX format into AutoCAD software (2019 or newer), you need to follow these steps:

  • Append the FBX in Navisworks and save as NWD/NWC. In AutoCAD it is possible to attach it as a Coordination model
