"BIM 360 error: failed to translate model"

If you receive the error notification "BIM 360 error: failed to translate model"  when importing a model file in Cintoo, it means that there is no 3D geometry included in the file (e.g. only 2D CAD lines, no 3D data).


To resolve this issue, open the model file to confirm what type of information it contains, and try re-saving the model file or re-exporting the file from the model authoring software with the correct settings. Making sure 3D geometry is included in the file will allow you to import and view the file in Cintoo.
