It's possible to share the 3D View with anybody or to selected users.
Having a permission Share is mandatory to perform the following steps.
1. Select the scan that will be used as the starting point for the Shared Viewer experience:
In 3D View, switch to Scan&Teleport Mode, and set the desired view orientation and display mode that would be set as the starting view:
2. Click the Share icon from the middle tool bar:
3. In the Create share link dialogue, select the desired options:
- For security reasons, it's recommended to use at least the Expiration Date for the URL
(in combination with Password Protect if applicable) as the links generated are not accessible for later management/editing/deletion, and are public once shared.
- Customize the Shared Viewer by adding your own company logo if needed.
4. Click Create to generate a unique URL that could be opened and viewed in a separate tab, copy and send the to others.
Recipients will need to use Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox to view this 3D content.
When sharing a scan from the Data tab, the default view in the Shared Viewer will be set to 2D Panoramic mode:
