You can perform Point Cloud Cleanup within Leica Cyclone software and export that information out as a structured .e57 point cloud to be uploaded into Cintoo Cloud via Cintoo Connect. (This content provided by NOAR Technologies, a valued Cintoo Partner and Leica Registered Partner.)
- Open Registered ModelSpace
- Double Check that Scans aren’t Unified/Merged
- Click on point cloud to select cloud.
- If entire cloud lights up, and ‘one cloud’ is listed in bottom left, point cloud is unified and cannot be cleaned for Cintoo.
- Open the Layer Manager, and create Noise, Working, and Complete layers
- Shift + L opens manager
- Shift + L opens manager
- Select a single point cloud, and assign to Working layer
- Disable the visibility on Default, Noise, and Complete working layers
- This should leave one scan visible in the ModelSpace
- This should leave one scan visible in the ModelSpace
- Segment the cloud to remove noise
- Select Noise and assign to Noise Layer
- Select all segments of the scan and run the Merge command
- Create Object -> Merge
- This will combine all parts back into one contiguous cloud
- Select the point cloud and assign to the Completed layer
- This will turn the visibility of the cleaned cloud off
- This will turn the visibility of the cleaned cloud off
- Turn on the Default layer visibility and repeat steps 4-9 for each individual scan
