Share Link for a Project

This article covers the steps to generate a shared view link for a Cintoo project.


1. Go to My Projects. 

2. On any project, click Share icon to open the Create share link panel along the right-hand side. 



  • Name allows to identify the share link among others. See more Share Link Explorer.
  • Require the user to be a member: (disabled by default) By enabling this option, only members who have been added to the Cintoo project can open the share link.
  • Password – (enabled by default) Set a password to control who can open the share link. Password must be at least 12 characters long and contain at least 3 of the following: uppercase, lowercase, digit, special characters.
  • Set expiration date for URL: (enabled by default) Expiration date will be set to 14 days from date of share link creation by default unless changed or disabled.
  • Select the resources to share: at least one of the following options must be enabled before creating the share link: 
    • Work Zones: (enabled by default) 
    • Notes: (enabled by default) 
    • Issues: (disabled by default)
    • Measurements: (enabled by default) 
    • Crops: (enabled by default)
    • Tags: (disabled by default) 
  • Include your company logo: (optional) allows to add a JPEG or PNG branding image to a Share Link. Logo will be embedded at the bottom left-hand corner of the viewer.


3. Click Create. A green Project Share pop-up window appears on the bottom right of the screen. Click on View to have the link opened in a new browser tab bearing the name of the link set upon creation. Click on Copy link to save the link to share in any convenient way.
