Manual Alignment Tools: Limitations and Workarounds

Created by John Tapia, Modified on Wed, 12 Apr, 2023 at 11:31 PM by John Tapia

Once you use the manual alignment tool and apply the changes, the new position becomes the baseline location. Unfortunately, there is no way to undo this at present.

To restore the aligned data to its original position, you will need to do one of the following:

  • Remember the direction/amount of translation and amount of rotation saved in the alignment, and apply the inverse of the origianal values to undo the alignment.
  • Try to manually align it again without the exact translation/rotation values.
  • Re-upload the data
