Workaround for Uploading 2D CAD Files from Autodesk BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud

Follow these steps to import a model file that contains only 2D CAD lines from Autodesk BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud to Cintoo:

• Note that you will need an active Autodesk Navisworks Manage license and access to an active BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) account to do the following steps.

1. Open Navisworks Mange and click the Append icon from the Project panel in the Home tab.

2. In the Append dialog box, use the Files of Type box to select the appropriate file type, and navigate to the folder where the files you want to add is located.

3. Select the required files, and click Open.

4. Navisworks will automatically generate Navisworks Cache (.nwc) files for each file being appended. 

5. Upload the NWC files containing the 2D CAD lines to your Autodesk BIM 360/ACC project, and import the NWC files to Cintoo using the steps in this article: Upload 3D Models from Autodesk BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud 

Once imported, the 2D CAD lines contained in the NWC file can be viewed in the Cintoo 3D View.
