This article describes the functionality of the Rotation tool that helps to adjust the position of the data in Overview Map view without changing its real coordinates. This is a supplementary tool that doesn't save any of the applied changes.
Used with the Rectangle select tool it helps selecting the right area of the scans.
1. To access the Rotation tool open the Overview Map tab on the top middle bar:
2. On the left side bar click on the Rotation (Z→Y→X) icon:
3. Rotation (Z→Y→X) panel opens on the left. Hovering over the panel introduces a grid to the Overview map view.
4. Moving the X axis, Y axis or Z axis rotates all the data displayed in the Overview map view for the Top view in the example without changing the real coordinates of the data.
5. To undo the rotation click Reset button at the top right corner of the Rotation (Z→Y→X) panel or switch to any other panel (3D view, Data, Members etc.).
