TABLE OF CONTENTS
Explore Tags
Press Tools controller joystick to open VR Tools menu.
To activate tags display, click with Navigation controller trigger on Tags.
There are two ways of exploring Tags. They could be performed independently or in a combination, depending on the goals.
Using Search Tool
Open Resources panel with a click on the top button on Navigation controller and go to Tags panel.
For each tag there are icons available:
go to the closest scan view
/
Activate/deactivate tag
tag details
pending tag indication
Click on search bar and type the needed name on a virtual keyboard (could be moved in the viewport by dragging).
Wait for the result to be displayed and scroll results by pushing and pulling Navigation controller joystick.
Remove search keyword by clicking on red cross. It will clear search bar but not search results. After that it is possible to add more search results using different keywords, meaning that accumulation of tags from different search requests is possible.
Remove Tags selection button below search bar clears the list and allows to start a completely new search.
By Navigating in 3D
Make sure Tags selection is colored green (toggle on)
Move between scan locations or teleport to discover tags. Each time location is changed, tags that are located at a distance inferior to 7.5m are displayed and accumulated both in the viewport and in Tags panel list.
Tags are indicated by a bounding box and a name when hovering over them.
By clicking on a tag name, dialogue box with all tag details opens where metadata filtering is possible. Attach the window on top of the tag with Push window button.
Tags deactivation
Deactivating Tags button in VR Tools menu removes all tags from the viewport and Tags panel list and makes tags discovery and search no longer activated.
Same happens once switched from VR mode to Desktop mode.
