Closing Cintoo Connect window while an import session is still in progress allows to stop the import process to be resumed at another time.
Stopping and resuming an import session is available for any type of data uploaded.
Follow the steps below to stop and resume an import session in Cintoo Connect.
1. For the current import session in progress, take note of the Project and Work Zone listed under Destination in Cintoo Connect. This information will be required in order to resume the import process later.
2. Click the X button in Cintoo Connect.
3. A dialog window will appear to confirm the import session is still in progress. Click Yes to stop the import process and exit Cintoo Connect.
4. To resume the import process, open the same Cintoo Project and the same Work Zone , and choose any import option from the Add drop-down menu to re-launch Cintoo Connect.
5. Cintoo Connect will launch with a dialogue confirming the previous import session was found. Click Resume to continue the import from where the process left off.
There might occur a situation when the import session crushes due to external reasons and when relaunching Cintoo Connect it won't let continue the import process and get stuck. In this case there are 2 solutions:
- Create another work zone and start the import process anew there
- Clean the Cintoo Connect cache folder (for example, when there is already an established file structure inside a work zone and moving data from it is not efficient)
- Close Cintoo Connect.
- Press "Win + R" on a keyboard to open the Run dialog.
- Type in the following: %TEMP%/Cintoo/session. A dedicated Cintoo Connect cache folder opens.
- Remove all files inside the session folder.
- Restart Cintoo Connect.
