Watch tutorial video: Navigation
Navigation Controls are based on camera settings that are set in 3D View. Be aware that these controls cannot be used in Overview Map.
Navigation Controls also vary depending on mode: Scan&Teleport or 3D Navi.
1. Choose Cameras on the sidebar.
2. Choose either Ground or Arc Rotate when viewing in 3D Navi mode.
3. Navigation Controls for Ground option. The picked central point for orbit around is represented by a white ball surrounded by colored axes showing directions of movement.
4. Navigation Controls for Arc Rotate option.
- Mouse Left Click + Drag: orbit the camera around a picked point
The picked central point for orbit around is represented by a white ball surrounded by colored axes showing directions of movement. - Mouse Right Click + Drag: pan, perpendicular to the ground
- Middle Mouse Click or Shift + Mouse Left Click: rotate the camera around pick point
- Double Click on a point: move the camera to recenter the picked point
- Scroll: move the camera in the direction of mouse pointer
5. For both Ground and Arc Rotate modes if a model element is selected in Model Content Explorer the center of the model element becomes the central point (represented by a while ball, instead of a ball with axes) for orbit around movement. Thus, all rotations will happen around it.
If several model elements are selected in Model Content Explorer the central point is moved between centers of those elements.
