Pipe Measurements
Watch tutorial video: Pipe Measurement.
Pipe Measurements can be created in 3D View in either Scan&Teleport mode or 3D Navi mode.
- Measurements cannot be created in 2D Panoramic display mode. One of the 3D display modes must be on.
- It's recommended to use Scan&Teleport mode with 3D Surface display mode to take the most accurate measurements.
- Once the measurement has been saved, it can then be viewed in 2D Panoramic display mode as well.
1. Click on Measurement icon on the vertical tool bar on the left side of the screen.
2. Click the drop-down menu next to the Add Measurement button, select Pipe and click Add measurement.
3. Hover mouse cursor over any cylindrical element, and left-mouse click to place the pipe measurement.
4. Click Save Measurement to save pipe measurement to Measurements list.
6. In Measurements list, saved pipe measurements will display as type Pipe with Diameter measurement shown.
7. Opening a pipe measurement from Measurements list will also display Diameter and Center point (shown as XYZ coordinates) under the central toolbar.
8. Pipe measurements are also available via Report Tab, from which they can be exported in a PDF or BCF file.
