Watch the short tutorial video here: Pipe Measurement

Pipe Measurements can be created in the Cintoo 3D View in either Scan & Teleport Mode or 3D Navigation mode.

  • Measurements cannot be created in the 2D Panoramic display mode. You must be in one of the 3D display modes.
  • We recommend using Scan & Teleport Mode with the 3D Surface display mode to make the most accurate measurements:
  • Once the measurement has been saved, it can then be viewed in 2D Panoramic display mode as well.

1. Click on the ‘Measurement’ icon in the vertical tool bar on the left side of the screen.

2. Click the drop-down menu next to the "Add Measurement" button, and select "Pipe":

3. Hover the mouse cursor over any cylindrical element to be measured in 3D View, and left-mouse click to place the pipe measurement:

4. Click "Save Measurement" to save the pipe measurement to the Measurements list:

6. In the Measurements list, saved pipe measurements will display as "Type: Pipe" with "Diameter" measurement shown:

7. Opening a pipe measurement from the Measurements list will also display the "Diameter" and "Center" point (shown as XYZ coordinates) under the middle toolbar:

8. Pipe measurements are also available via the Report Tab, from which they can be exported in a PDF file:
