This article covers the steps to use the Crop Inside/Crop Outside feature for Tags in Cintoo.
- You must be assigned a Role in the Cintoo project with the "Manage tags" permission enabled in order to use this feature.
- There must be at least one Tag List with Tags in the project in order to use this feature. See Creating Tags in Cintoo Cloud for more information.
1. In the Cintoo 3D View, click the Tag Explorer icon from the left toolbar to open the Tag Explorer panel.
2. From the Tag Explorer panel, toggle on the Tag List with Tags to be displayed in 3D View.
- If there are "No tags available" in the Tag Explorer, then the current active work zone does not contain a Tag List.
3. Double click on a Tag in the Tag Explorer to see it in 3D View, and make sure the display mode is set to "3D Surface" or "3D RGB."
- The Clip Inside/Outside settings will not be visible in "2D Panoramic" display mode.
4. Right click on the Tag in the Tag Explorer to see more actions.
5. The following crop settings are available from the list of actions:
- Click "Crop in" to crop and hide all elements inside of the Tag bounding box:
- Click "Crop out" to crop and hide all elements outside of the Tag bounding box:
- Click "Crop off" to clear any applied crop setting:
6. Any crop settings applied to a Tag List will also be applied to all Tags within the list.
- Crop settings can only be applied to Tag Lists with less than 100 Tags. Attempting to apply a crop setting to a Tag List with more than 100 Tags will prompt the following message:
- A crop icon will be displayed on any individual Tags in the list with an active crop setting applied.
- Any existing crop settings applied to individual Tags will be overwritten by the crop setting applied to the overall Tag List.
- Clearing the crop setting applied to a Tag List will revert any existing crop settings applied to individual Tags back to their previous setting.
