VR actions - Tags

This article describes ways to discover tags, rules that apply to them and how to effectively manage tags in Cintoo Workspace application.

Explore Tags

Open Explorer by pressing top button (B) on Navigation controller and go to Tags tab.

Load tags from Cintoo project by clicking Fetch from cloud.

Refresh them from same tab to get latest tags by clicking Refresh.

There are two ways of exploring Tags. They could be performed independently or in a combination, depending on the goals.

Tag Lists

In Tags tab, all project tags are organized into tag lists, and number of tags in each list is displayed next to its name.

To hide tags, toggle their tag list off in Tags Explorer by clicking on eye icon next to a tag list - all tags of that list are removed from viewport in one action.

Remove all tags from the view by clicking Deactivate all.

Switching from VR mode to Desktop mode removes all tags from viewport and Tags tab list.

Using Search Tool

Search tags from Tags tab of Explorer. Click on search bar, type needed name on virtual keyboard and click on lens icon on the right.

Wait for the result to be displayed and scroll results by pushing and pulling Navigation controller joystick.

Remove search keyword by clicking on cross icon on the search bar.

For each tag there are icons available:

• go to tag position
• / Activate/deactivate tag
• tag details
• pending tag indication

By Navigating in 3D

Make sure tags are loaded from Tags tab (see Explore Tags).

Tags appear in 3D as soon as they are loaded - no need to move first. Move between scan locations or teleport to discover more - 100 closest tags around you are loaded automatically.

Tags are indicated by a bounding box and a name when hovering over them.

By clicking on a tag name, dialogue box with all tag details opens where metadata filtering is possible. Attach the window on top of the tag with Push window button.
