It will search in all tag lists from the active Work Zones. You will then get a result list.

The search results in a list of tags. Click on one of them to open the corresponding list, or right-click to select the options to navigate to the tag.

You can exit the search result by clicking on the left arrow located on the Results title line.

From the DATA Tab:

It is possible to search for tag ID only from the Data Tab. All other metadata are not associated to the search in this case.

Results from the search will be displayed together with the Tag List name and the Work Zone path for each tag.

You can also use one of the Actions icons on the right side of the screen to view Tag details or to open the Tag in 3D View (Play 3D). Note that if you click on the Tag, it will open the Tag List.

Viewing Tags and Tag Properties (metadata) From the Tag Explorer in the 3D View

In the 3D View, use the Tag Explorer to set a list of tags as ‘Show’. Tags in this list are displayed with the list color selected when creating this tag list. Tag color can be changed at any time by editing the tag list:

Sharing Tags

Each created tag has a unique URL that can be shared. ‘Sharing’ is one of the actions available when a tag has been selected:

Clicking on 'Share' will promt the following window, from which you can copy the URL or get a QR code.

The person(s) receiving those sharing URLs will need to be logged in to Cintoo Cloud and have the right permission to view the tag.

This tag sharing option is also available from the DATA Tab:

Exporting Tag Lists

Tag lists can be downloaded as a CSV file from the DATA Tab or from the Tag Explorer in the 3D View.

This list can be used to populate your asset management platform with information coming from your as-built conditions (i.e. scan data), including the scan view for each individual tag.

The user can then select one tag in the asset management platform, and click on the link to open Cintoo Cloud and view the tag in its existing real-world conditions.

In the DATA Tab, select the ‘Download’ action for a selected list of tags:

In the 3D View, select the list of tags in the Tag Explorer and click 'Download':

The downloaded CSV file contains the list of tags, and for each tag:

  • The ID of the tag
  • The 6 coordinates of the bounding box
  • All the metadata for each tag
  • The Cintoo Cloud URL of each tag (e.g. https://aec.cintoo.com/tag/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)
