This article talks about a tool dedicated to visually compare scans and CAD models, at least one scan and one model should be active.
Activate the model from the Resources panel using the open eye icon:
For now, only Visual check is available in Comparison mode.
Click on Comparison – Visual Check to enter comparison mode:
The dialogue box with the comparison opens. The window itself could be moved by pressing the navigation controller trigger button on the title of the window.
Control the transparency for scans or models by moving the point on the line with trigger button on the navigation controller. Models could be swapped with scans by clicking on the double-directional arrow between All scans and All models.
Press white squares at the bottom of the window to open two additional panels with RGB color bars. Manipulate color bars with the trigger button on navigation controller to change the color contribution to the colorization tool. An example of the visual comparison:
To remove the comparison colors click Reset. Until the Reset button is pressed the visualization stays the same even if the Visual Check Tool window is closed.
