The Model Content Explorer allows to browse model hierarchy, elements and metadata if the BIM & CAD Module (BCM) has been activated. See the section Unlocking the BIM & CAD Module for details.

With a model selected the model hierarchy is displayed which can be expanded and searched as required.
The Model Content Explorer allows you to browse, search, select or unselect elements of models.
The following attributes can be searched using the Model Content Explorer search tool:
- element name
- narrowing down the search results to find the exact name of the file is done by adding a prefix "label:" and putting the name of the file searched in brackets "example". Please note that this search is case sensitive.
- special case when a character " is in the middle of the name of the file. To correctly process it by the search mechanism add "\" character before the " character. For example initial filename is model"example, then enter scan\"example to correctly search:
- additionally search could be performed by metadata
If the following message appears, the model has either been exported incorrectly or uploaded before the release of the expanded BIM & CAD module (before Oct 03, 2022).
In this case, please review the model export settings from the design software and reupload the latest version of the model.
