Data Tab

Data tab is a project-level interface for accessing, managing, and browsing various work zones and project files (e.g. scans, models, asset tags, etc.) in a project.


When opening a Cintoo project from My Projects by clicking Data View, a project will open on Data tab. Explorer Toolbar is docked to the left side of the screen, Work Zone Explorer is located next to it, while the main view displays work zones and individual project files. 


Note: While in Data Tab, only Work Zone Explorer will be accessible within Explorer toolbar.


There are two display modes for viewing Data tab which can be set based on user preference:


List Mode


Tile Mode


Clicking on a work zone name listed in Work Zone Explorer will open and display its files or sub-folders in the main view.


When a work zone is selected from Work Zone Explorer or from the main view, additional work zones can be displayed in the main view by clicking check box next to a work zone name listed in Work Zone Explorer.


Work zones can be collapsed/expanded by clicking on a work zone directory name in the main view. Unchecking a work zone will hide folders in the main directory.



Quickly find work zones or individual files within a project by selecting root project folder at the top of Work Zone Explorer, and using search tool in the main view.


The following attributes can be searched using Data tab search box.


Note: by default search is partial, which means that it finds all names of files which contain the information searched.


  • work zone folder name
  • file name


  • adding a prefix "type:" allows to search for a specific type of data. Supported keywords are scan, model, tag, workzone, sitemap, taglist, geoimage (360 images and IDD objects).


  • adding a prefix "id:" UUID of the file allows to perform an exact search by id.


  • narrowing down search results to find the exact name of a file is done by adding a prefix "label:" and putting the name of a file searched in brackets "example". 

    Note: this search is case sensitive.


  • special case when a character " is in the middle of the name of a file. To correctly process it by search mechanism add "\" character before " character. For example initial filename is scan"example, then enter scan\"example to perform a search correctly.

 

From Data tab, various Actions (e.g. Delete, Edit, Download, Share, Copy URL etc.) can be taken for selected work zones or individual project files:

  • List mode: various action icons are displayed for each item in the main view on the right side of the screen under Actions column


  • Tile mode: various action icons will appear when hovering  mouse cursor over an item in the main view


Multiple items can be selected simultaneously by clicking a check box for each item in the main view, and Actions for multi-selected items will appear at the bottom of the screen.
